Limerick city is design for the car. Cars have the power in this city center where pesdestrian should have this priority. Eleven park car are modern gates of this city where public transport try to improve there network but people use car for habit.
This project use all the opportunity for this city in progress. Block quiet dense but full of empty space, some great building with real quality of material. Use this empty space who build a majority of this city and the existing lane for develop a other network : a pedestrian network, a real space for people outside of their car.
With this process we use the opportunity of the block for improve it. Keep the great stone building like a skin and create housing, music school and communication gallery and office for an urban authority, open the block.
